We were a bit fearful of being washed out by the monsoon rains when we arrived in Mirissa during August. And then we were greeted by this.....! Beautiful sand, monster waves and windswept coconut trees combine to make this the perfect stop en route from Galle to Sri Lanka's east coast.

«We had a nice stay at the Small House. The owner and staff were very helpful. The owner lent us his phone so we could book a taxi service we found online, which we think was really great. "En liten skjult perle i Weligama. Servicen var upåklagelig og maten fantastisk. Hele stedet hadde en veldig avslappet atmosfære. Et hyggelig miljø hvor det var lett å komme i kontakt med andre eller være alene om en ønsket det. Rommet var nydelig og det var stille og rolig hele tiden. Vil gjerne komme tilbake."
