«This property is like staying in Colonial Williamsburg. It is very old. The floors creek, the pipes sing in the night and there is little to stop any noise coming from other rooms. Beware the nails sticking out of the ancient hardwood floors! This is not very accessible if you have walking issues. Lots of uneven pathways. The drive out there is scary at night! Do not take the fastest route to get there from the airport- take the straightest way. But the place is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. ...

«Overall a nice place to stay. 1st night toilet in original room did not work. Employees transferred us to another room quickly. Thank you for that. The 2nd room the water pressure in shower was very low, refrigerator did not work, and the TV kept disconnecting from shows. All the negative was no biggie. Just wanted to give review for improvement. Again overall very nice staff and convenience of stores and restaurants around made up for other stuff needing improvement.»

«If you just need a place to sleep and shower, the room is nice and clean with great hot/cold shower. The mini fridge and tv are working properly. The great thing we loved is the accessibility to the Blue Ridge Parkway. »
