Hotel staff were very courteous and understood our problem with the bleach smell immediately. They told us to contact Expedia to get the refund of what we had paid in advance. «The location of the property is ideal—steps from a coffee shop and dining and shopping options and a few blocks from tourist destinations. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and comfortable. The outdoor courtyard was a pleasant, relaxing alternative to the bustling streets. «The hotel is in the middle of renovations, so there’s that. Great location and check in staff was friendly. For the price we paid for an oceanfront room, the room was ok. It had been updated, but there were cigarette ashes on our balcony and hair all over our room floor. The bathroom ceiling had mold. The neighbors that stayed near us Saturday night were obnoxiously loud til 4:30am, but that’s not the hotels fault. »

«The room was clean. The staff was not helpful at all. We were told they had on site parking when we get there was told by desk we were on our own until we complained enough and they said we could park at another hotel that's 4 blocks away. Toilet didn't flush very well and the room had no charger ports to charge phones. They also should tell guest not to come from 3-4 to check in because there is a school across the street that lets out every day at that time with parents taking all the street ...
