«Beautiful room, tremendous view, lots of little touches, e.g. binoculars on the window ledge, dressing gown and slippers, a dram left on the window ledge, a proper bottle of milk left in the fridge, a wee bottle of irn bru, energy bars….. and the list goes on! So very thoughtful. We had the opportunity to speak to both Peter and Nicola and they were genuinely interested in us having a great time, which we did. Must be one of the best guest houses in Scotland, and we’ve visited loads of them. Top ...

«Fantastic space, peaceful! Hooks to hang up towels,washbags would be handy!
Bedroom door doesn’t click shut.
Side table would be handy opposite side of bed. Shoe rack for those who don’t wear shoes inside, will save carpet too.
Bit less air freshener wouldn’t hurt.

«We stayed at Sugar Boat for two nights and had a wonderful experience! We had booked a family room (for three people) and had the top floor to ourselves. A beautiful room, plenty of space for us, very nicely furnished - lovely colours, comfartble beds, tea and coffee facilities.
Beautiful and modern bathroom.
Breakfast in the restaurant was also very nice - good food and nice and friendly staff!
We felt most welcome, and hope to come back at some point.»
