«I absolutely LOVED staying here and wished we had booked a longer stay! The cottage was so sweet and nice. It was exceptionally clean. The couch was wonderful and the TV was great. Parking was easy and the cottage was easy to find. It also had a great location. Kitchen was also nice. I loved the upstairs bedroom. The bed and pillows were so comfy! «This room in this home is basically a two season rental - spring or fall. This room does not have air conditioning. It was so hot during our July visit we couldn't stay the second night of our two-night visit. The squeeky broken ceiling fan did nothing to make it better. Other visitors have mentioned it was cold during their visit. There is no thermostat for the heat so you are relying on a remote thermostat somewhere else in the house to control the baseboard radiators. The location was ...

«The accommodation is quaint & interesting. Access to each room is through the other and the doorways are narrow. Everything i needed was supplied including plenty of information on Maine & the local area. The electricity & heating systems required some details before working correctly. Good, quiet & private location with Maes cafe and bakery 3 mins walk.»

«This is a lovely property. It was very clean, quiet, and met all our needs. A quick drive to town for shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed the Botanical Gardens and highly recommend this stop. We took kayaks out on our own for a nice two hour trip, Capn Fishes Puffin tour provided another view of the seashore, we learned so much from the guide and did see quite a few puffin! We did not take advantage of the fire pit but it looked great.»

In addition to restaurants in town it is only minutes away from Robinson's Wharf, which had some of the best food we experienced in 14 days of travel - definitely the best lobster. Would have loved to take a kayak out with my fish rods but the water was cold and we had some rough waters that week.
