«This was our 7th year at various properties and areas of the Cotswold Water Park. This was the first time we had two houses so we, the grandparents, had Trout Cottage which was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the old TV. At the end of the day after an enjoyable day with the family out on the lake, walking and sitting in the evening sun with a drink at the bar, it would have been good to get back to Trout Cottage to 'crash' and enjoy some ...

«The Cotswold Water Park is our favourite place to spend time with our family and this year we were able to spend the whole week out and about. The family of seven stayed in Damsel Cottage and we, the grandparents had a smaller house, Trout Cottage, just a few houses up the road. No-one had any complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect including the weather, if a little hot during the day!»

«Fabulous break with a large family group over two’s properties. The outlook was lovely and the sunrises spectacular over the lake. The house was equiped with everything you could need and the amenities around the site were ample, including pub/cafe/ outdoor pool/ play area. Would definitely return. The only downside was others taking your allocated parking space.»

Only small gripe was about the estate facilities... restaurant and bar closed in Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm (I think). «We had a great weekend at 26 Howells mere. The accommodation was lovely, we particularly liked the large living area on the middle floor. «We had a lovely family break. Lovely peaceful location. Our house was lovely, in both bathrooms there was hairs on the floor and spiders in every room and up the stairs. Kitchen facilities were great. Lovely for a mini break, did feel around the grounds could have been better sign posted so get around and also thought it was limited with just one place to eat or drink.»

I love the views from the houses overlooking a pond or lake where there is lots of wildlife to observe. «The accommodation is nice and in a lovely spot but after staying in many places at lower mill it would benefit from upgradjng some things, having 2 baths and only a shower downstairs doesnt make sense and makes showering a juggle, it needs new mattresses and the pontoon needs some tidying up as its not useable for access. The accommodation is in a perfect spot and was very clean. We had a great holiday.»
