It is close enough to wineries and the cute towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang while still feeling like you are out in the countryside. The beds were comfy and the entire house was spotless. We had everything we needed - from very comfortable rooms, a quiet neighborhood, a gas bbq grill, full equipped kitchen, swimming pool, high speed internet, and board games galore. Everything was very clean and we got to enjoy relaxing at the house in between our fishing outings at Goleta Pier and Lake Cachuma. The place had privacy from the main house and backyard that made the stay more comfortable than it already was based on its cleanliness and amenities. «We rented this property to celebrate mom's 80th birthday as she wanted to go to Solvang. Weather was not in our favor that weekend but we were able to stay in this home, light a fire, play games, drink wine and relax. It was perfect. The views of the mountains are beautiful. We were able to see them with a dusting of snow! The location of the home is perfect. Easy drive to all the local favorite spots.»

Tons of privacy between the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms but super cozy and comfortable in between. The views were so pretty and although I do enjoy staying closer to downtown Solvang, the spaciousness was so appreciated and still close to everything. Loved it!!!»

«We all (family and friends) really enjoyed our stay. With 4 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen, breakfast room, dining room and ‘man cave’ plus a patio and pool, we had plenty of room. Only negative is the only way into the house is via steps which were difficult with my bad knees (66 years old). Great view of Lompoc from living room.»

The house itself is cute; we had a fenced yard for the dog to enjoy and the area itself felt away from it all without actually being that far away. I don’t usually sleep well away from home but I slept like a baby there. The peace and quiet plus a comfortable bed did the trick. We would definitely go back to enjoy more of the wineries and great restaurants.»
