Positives:
1. Location (close to highway and Whole Foods - walkable to Solana Beach)
2. Full Kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishes, toaster
3. Large Room with 2 bathrooms for families
4. Large heated Pool and hot tub
5. Price was reasonable
Negatives:
1. Front desk person at check-in was super rude and acted like it was a hassle to help us.
2. Ants in room
3. Plumbing backed up on last day (maintenance team was super nice though)
4. Highway noise heard in rooms
5. Dated furniture
Overall, a mixed experience. The property has a lot of potential given the size of the rooms and location. However, it is clear that it is a timeshare first and hotel second. Therefore, you don't feel the same level of customer service that you would get at a hotel. There wasn't always someone at the front desk and when there was, it was hit or miss if they were going to be friendly/helpful. With a family, I enjoyed the kitchen (albeit smaller appliances and sink) and the two rooms/two bathrooms. We also enjoyed the large, heated pool. If the negatives were addressed, this would be a great place to stay.
