«The location of the cottage is excellent, right next to the river Esk and on a very quiet holiday park (in April anyway). There is an amazing viaduct over the river where there is bungy jumping every couple of weeks during the summer and you can walk over it into Whitby which is only 30 mins away on foot. «Handy location near the harbour and chippy, nice and clean little house. Pictures didnt really show how small it was»

«Tried to give five stars across the board but the app won’t let me for some reason it’s stuck! We had a really great time at this property . It was very comfy with everything we needed. Lovely location to walk and relax in and also for visiting other areas. Would definitely recommend this property »

«Lovely property in a very nice area - very clean and comfortable. Private parking a massive bonus. 10 minute stroll into the centre of Whitby. Host was very quick to respond with internet problem - thank you. Would definitely stay here again.»

«We had a lovely 3 night stay in the cottage. Very well equipped with anything you needed to make you comfortable. Clean and tidy and great location. X »

«The cottage is in a great location, right in the centre of everything but very quiet at night. Everywhere was very clean when we arrived. Clemency is very helpful and responded quickly with any questions we had. We will book again on our next trip to Whitby. Would highly recommend.»

«They messed up our booking and we had a to leave a day early, only finding out the morning of leaving. Spoliing our last day for our kids and elderly dog.»

«The property is a little tired around the edges but was very clean and well presented. For some reason I didn't receive key code through Vrbo app but Christina very quickly responded to my contacting her and provided the needed info. In general the property was quiet, had everything we needed and in a great location for what we were there for. Having use of the garden and being only a short walk to the park behind plus local public footpaths was great given I was travelling with my dog.  ...

«Cottage was ok but after booking through hotels.com I was contacted by Host & Stay and advised I had to pay an additional fee for a damage waiver. Alternatively I could pay a deposit but they take an admin fee so you don’t get the full amount back plus they state they may take 14 days to refund.»

«High Oaks Grange is a beautiful property with a very high standard of fittings. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with old friends. There were plenty of things to do locally and we loved the area. One highlight was a meal cooked for us in the Grange by Chef Dan Graham. We would thoroughly recommend him. as would we would highly recommend The Grange for a large group. We hope to return in the future.»
