«This is the first time using VRBO. Our host family was very accommodating. They had a fire pit available, since they knew we were part of scouts. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us to have our own bed for sleeping. They provided all the bathroom supplies. The kitchen had all the amenities of home. This property is located in the Eastern time zone in Dubois County. We spent much of our time about 5 miles south in Spencer County. We've visited Santa Claus IN.I would definitely ...

«This was the perfect place for my family to stay for our annual trip to Holiday World. We have stayed at other hotels and the cottages near the park and this place was by far the best. Perfect amount of space for us, our 2 girls and our 3 nieces. Loved the location. Our kids loved the animals. Hoping to make it back next year and will definitely look to book Shannon’s place again. I highly recommend Shannon’s place!»

«We had two families stay together - totaling ten people - we were all very comfortable! The kids loved being out in and on the water - there were two kayaks and a paddle boat for guest use - as well as having their own space upstairs. We enjoyed the privacy and the relaxing atmosphere of the interior and exterior of the home. Not too far from Holiday World and was actually a nice drive! The upstairs loft can get hot pretty quick, so the owner had already provided two fans on-site and this was ...

14. Camp Collins-French Lick Gem!

«Definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. This has to be the worst flip I've ever seen. Literally holes in the floor. Gaps in the flooring. Beds are horrendous. Shower head barely had any pressure. Hot tub was milky in color. They did a cheap and very poor job on this place and now are trying to sell it but anyone with eyes won't be touching it. Host wanted to charge 25 an hour for early check in lol. Dont waste your time with this one»

«This property was definitely unique! It's like staying at your Great Grandmas house in the country as the furnishings and decor were 1970s - we enjoyed that though! We had what we needed and plenty of space. The oven was definitely old, dishwasher was newer, beds were comfortable but the old spring-type. Be aware you need charcoal for the grill. You are way out in the country so bring what you need as running to the store would take a while. The most interesting thing was the herd of sheep ...
