«Beautiful peaceful ryokan with the full Japanese experience. We loved both of the bookable bathhouses- great after a chilly day in the Deer Park. The kaiseki dinner in your own private adjoining dining room was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were all very lovely. Highly recommend. »

«Beautiful hotel with Japanese garden connected to the room. Matcha room has private outdoor soaking tub over looking garden. Very zen atmosphere! 15 minute cab ride from Kyoto station in local neighborhood.»

«The room, although small was extremely clean with complete amenities. The staff at the check-in office was friendly and helpful. Resi Stay Kuon is very near to the shopping district and only 3 minutes walk to Nishiki Market. So glad Family Mart is literally across the street from the hotel's entrance. Highly recommended!»

«If you’re looking for an authentic tatami mat stay with easy access to great food and local experiences - and don’t mind sharing a bathroom with other guests - we highly recommend this place! Our young kids absolutely loved it and said it was their favorite stay of the trip. As early risers, we enjoyed morning walks to Lawsons for coffee and snacks before heading out for the day. «The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that.
House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead.»
