«Thank you very much for a wonderful stay at this idyllic Ryokan in the heart of Nara forest! The service was sublime. The two hostesses who welcomed me and served my exquisite Japanese meals were wonderful. The whole unit is detached, containing as it does a spacious tatami room, where meals were served, large bedroom with two large Western-style beds, an excellent bathroom with traditional stool, bucket and shower and a very deep bath, already drawn and ready to bathe in. «Kenji was a very nice host and his "guest house English" speaking was wonderful!! It is a perfect location if you are looking to wake up early and walk to the bamboo forest, you can be one of the first people there. Kenji also gave us recommendations of places to visit in the area that you otherwise may not have known about. »

«The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead.»
