The Gateway Arch, or the St. Luis arch to the West. Part of the Jefferson National Memorial. The observation deck is 630 feet up and is the tallest manmade monument in the United States. It opened in 1967 and you could either walk to the top or take a very interesting elevator to the top, small capsules that fit five people and zig zag their way to the top in four minutes. As I drove into St. Luis it can be seen above the horizon and because it is stainless steel shines bright as you come in. To anyone who can, I would say go, Seeing it in person it is immense! When seeing it form a distance it doesn't really look that big, but up close, looking straight up to the top it is incredible!

«Overall this cabin is just terrific. We were only two people, but easily two couples or a family with kids could stay here. The location is rather easy to find with GPS, and once you get used to the tiny uphill road, you're good. Incredibly close to shopping, entertainment, the Nat'l Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. "Based on earlier experience I was disappointed!!! - confusing information in reception at check in - VIP Hotel.com level not accepted or offered ? (Listed in my H.com setup) but some 10$ rebate at restaurants was mentioned one day but next «NO» by another person when asked - cleaning of my room not done, still if there was a misunderstanding or not it took 2 days when I complained before it was handled - Huge TV trash boxes in the hallway towards my room - it was there for 3 days, and then I complained due to What I see as fire risk plus negative environmental. Not what I expect for such a hotel star level and chain - So my conclusion, reception team not aligned or coordinated with the rest of the hotel - The positive part was Coffe shop and their employees "

"Flott hotell med veldig sentral beliggenhet. Kort vei til the loop og mange severdigheter. Stort rom med behagelige senger. Frokosten var inkludert, den inneholdt det meste av varm og kald mat. Litt skolekantine-følelse, men veldig god mat. Hotellet har roof-top, denne var stengt under vårt opphold. Hotellet anbefales, ville bodd her igjen. "
