«We had a great time here. We didn't stay long, but we felt welcomed by the host when we ran into them. The room was clean and decorated nicely! We appreciated the clear instructions on where to park and where to retrieve our key to the room»

«The room was clean & large. The staff was helpful but rarely at the counter. Breakfast was good. Only real negative was the hike from our room to eat breakfast or get coffee. This is a 1 story hotel about 300 feet long. Recommend you request a room close to the breakfast area.»

«Great place. We arrived after hours and never met the staff. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Recommend updates such as a coffee maker in the room or on each floor, also a grab bar/towel bar by shower would be great. Finally, stress the fact there are no elevators and if your room is on the 4th floor you carry your luggage up 45 stairs. Staying here was a great experience staying in a historic building almost 200 years old and I truly felt the history!! KUDOS TO THE RESTORERS!!»

«Beware that check in is at 3 pm and the office closes at 5pm during some times of the year. The room was nice, quaint but on the 4th floor and we were unaware of a flight of stairs we needed to go up. The TV wouldn't turn on so we spent a bit working on that. Breakfast was a delight and the service was excellent.»
