«We came for rare opportunity for a Family Retreat with our son who is a Catholic monk. All we wanted was a silent internal and external setting. No other expectation. We were blessed with so much more. Most special was roomy space for conversation and prayer for all of us. We are all adults and though the basement rooms aren’t best for adults, it suited the simplicity we needed. We were blessed with walks on snow covered paths and hills and ice covered lake. A true retreat. »
