We used uber to get around with very few issues, but a car would be useful to have since it is not located in the main area of town. «If you want a quiet, isolated camping type experience, this is the spot! Roof over your head, cold AC, washroom and outdoor tub with an unbeatable view of Arenal. Expect bugs if you leave the window or door open too long - that end up dead on the floor in the morning. «Wow! What a wonderful property, we did not want to leave. So comfortable and luxurious, with beautiful verandah and an outside bathtub and shower. Our teenagers loved it too, gorgeous pool area and comfortable rooms and great kitchen. We also so enjoyed viewing toucans, humming birds and other wildlife right from our porch. Good WiFi and netflix etc. Laundry also done for us. Overall a brilliant stay!»

«Macadamia is perfectly located to enjoy the area’s parks and activities. Pretty much everything you’d want to visit is only about five or ten minutes away. Door to door, downtown Santa Elena is only 4 minutes. The house was very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Two separate bedrooms were great for our family of four.
