We used uber to get around with very few issues, but a car would be useful to have since it is not located in the main area of town. «If you want a quiet, isolated camping type experience, this is the spot! Roof over your head, cold AC, washroom and outdoor tub with an unbeatable view of Arenal. Expect bugs if you leave the window or door open too long - that end up dead on the floor in the morning. Communication: Dahana was fabulous, spoke English and quick to respond with any issues.Location: 45 mins from La Fortuna - 30 of it is very rough terrain - 7km of rock / dirt that absolutely needs a vehicle with high clearance.
