The main house was wonderful - safe, private, away from the noise of downtown, terrific views, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms. Clean, good plumbing, hot water, good stovetop, refreshing pool, beautiful greenery. Our friends stayed in the main house and had a great experience. The host was helpful with directions, local activities, restaurant and supermarket recommendations. It is easier to find during the day; a bit more challenging at night but we did it with help from the host. The cabina, however, is not good. There is no hot water to the sink or shower. They have a showerhead hot water heater, but we could not get it to work. We had to shower in the main house. There is no door on the bathroom, so if you want any privacy, the other person has to leave the room (doable during the day; more problematic at night - and turning on the light will wake the other sleeping person). And unless the shades are drawn, people at the pool and even in the main house can see into the bathroom. Outside - the cushions on the recliners are moldy and the ones on the table are beyond worn. The pool is lovely!Bottom line is - if you only plan to use the main house, this is a great place. But if you have people in your group who are hoping to use the cabina as a living space - make sure you know what you're signing up for.
