«I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Tangara Arenal. I booked the bungalow option, and it was a great choice. The bungalow was surrounded by plants and trees, with outdoor seating perfect for relaxing or reading while it rained—and when it rains, it pours! The metal roof made the sound of the rain noticeable, but I found it soothing, like white noise. We visited during the wet season and had the usual afternoon showers, but it never bothered us. «You don't stay in Arenal for the area around the B&Bs. You go to Arenal because it's funky and quiet and friendly . We return to Casa Donna Rosa for the welcoming owners and most of all for the fantastic breakfast preparations. I have only been gone one day and I miss their breakfasts already. Home baked Challah in think hunks with baked crisp finish the their french toast...yumm even before you try adding the smear of preserves. Great Costa Rican coffee is served with pots of wam milk. »

«This stay was one of the higlights of our vacation in Costa Rica. We never write reviews, but now we just have to. This family run bed & breakfast was magical. They were all so Nice, warm, welcoming and always willing to help. We even missed our taxi going to a coffee plantation and the owners son drove us there himself. It was like being part of a big loving family. Speaking of the son, he makes food for the restaurant… and oh my god. I really do hope Gordon Ramsay go here and taste his food. ...
