In the Ozark mountains, this cozy cabin provides the ideal getaway spot for your upcoming trip. The 40 Acre property is located adjacent to the Buffalo National River with three corners bordering the National Forest. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a comfy living room with large windows providing views of the many mountain ranges and the Buffalo River 400 feet below. Looking just-on the other side of the river lies Gene Rush Wildlife management area, managing Deer, Elk, Black Bear, and Turkey. So keep your eyes open on our large porch that offers a good spot to quietly watch the wildlife such as deer, bald eagles, turkeys…. Perfect setting for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Gather your group in the fully stocked kitchen, equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the necessary appliances to prepare delicious meals. Enjoy your culinary creations at the large dining table, or step outside and fire up the grill for a barbecue under the stars.

When it's time to unwind, take advantage of the cabin's modern amenities, including WiFi, a smart TV with Xsatellite/cable channels, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The game room is sure to keep the kids (and the young at heart) entertained with a variety of video games and other fun activities.

We’ve traveled to many places over the years, and this was one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and well cared for. The wrap-around porch overlooking the Ozark Mountains was a highlight and made it easy to relax right away.We loved being able to cook our own meals—the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, well organized, and had everything we needed. The water was hot, everything was spotless, and the whole cabin felt comfortable and inviting. The game room upstairs was a wonderful space for our child, and the Pac-Man was a fun surprise. Evenings by the fireplace with the movie selection made it easy to slow down and enjoy time together.The drive in was part of the adventure and added to the charm of the stay. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub this visit, but that just gives us something to look forward to when we return. Thank you for the beautiful view and for making this such a special place to celebrate my birthday this week. We’re very grateful for our stay.We even left a small unopened container of ice cream in the freezer as a simple thank-you.

We loved our stay over the long Thanksgiving weekend. The cabin is so comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed both the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace. My teenage boys loved the loft area with games.

I highly recommend this rental! The house and property are stunning! The house was incredibly clean with everything you need for a fun and comfortable stay. Robin was a great host and quick to communicate. It’s a short drive to Buffalo River entry points and the large property was fun to hike and explore.

This place has amazing views, perfect for drinking coffee and reading books. A great game area upstairs for the kids! Tons of woods surrounding property the kids liked walking in them and finding wildlife. Ended up having family members stop by and get married on deck due to planned destination being closed from bear attack. We will definitely come back!

Everything about this cabin was wonderful. From the clean, comfy furnishings to the well supplied kitchen complete with welcome snacks and k-cups, to the great kids space with games. Not to mention the incredible view and the spacious porch to enjoy it on. It was a perfect spot for our family with two middle schoolers, and had plenty of space for more people, too. One of the really delightful things we hadn’t even planned on was the stargazing. We were fortunate to be there during clear nights, and being so far from any light pollution, we could see so many stars, and could see the Milky Way as well, which was such a treat. I think the last time I saw the Milky Way that clearly was in the remote mountains of California as a kid. Robin was very helpful and responsive answering my questions. The cabin is a bit far from the various national river trailheads (30 minutes), so we decided to just stay put and enjoy the location itself, and the marked path through the woods on the property. It was so nice that we didn’t want to leave! If we’d been there more days, we’d have made an excursion of kayaking or hiking around Buffalo National River.

Very clean property with very strong AC. Decent and very reliable Wi-Fi. Fantastic gameroom and well-equipped kitchen. Large deck with a grill and a firepit; great views- the photos don't lie! The bed in the master bedroom is nice, but the mattress is on the hard side. Plan accordingly if you're used to softer. Cabin smells pleasantly of cedar- adding this only for the benefit of asthmatics and any others with breathing issues. Highly recommended.

Beautiful setting

The house sits on a hill overlooking a valley with no structures in sight. We loved the privacy! Comfortable house, very clean and with a well stocked kitchen. Don’t forget to check out the stars from the deck. Thanks for a lovely experience!

The cabin was amazing. The view was spectacular. The cabin was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. Stocked with everything you would need. They even have toothbrushes. It’s off the beaten path a little but everything in the area is. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beginning of Summer Fun Family Getaway

The beginning of the summer we like to getaway and hike, spend time together away from the hustle and bustle of cities together as a family, enjoying nature and having fun. Beautiful property!

Everything about this cabin and the surrounding property is just perfect! The quiet, remote location was exactly what we needed. We loved sitting on the porch reading, eating, and star-gazing. The fire pit is excellent and had an ample wood pile. The cabin is comfortable and so clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and everything we needed to cook our meals. Grocery stores and off-property adventures aren't too far away. We all agree this was our favorite vacation spot, and we'll be back soon!

Amazing Experience

Beautiful property, difficult host

Loved the cabin. Didn’t love being charged an additional 250 for a dirty towel and a deck chair that was broken before we arrived. I’d recommend going somewhere else if you want to avoid predatory charges. There are tons of other options in the area that are just as beautiful. Won’t be staying here and won’t be using VRBO ever again.

What a cooooool place! So many little details about this cabin that make it the best experience.
