I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tukwila and overall had a good experience. The location was very convenient, which made our stay even better.
Before arriving, I called to let them know we would be checking in late. The woman I spoke with was very friendly and assured me it wouldn’t be an issue, which I appreciated. When we arrived late that night, the front desk attendant seemed a bit annoyed, but the check-in process itself was quick and easy.
The room was okay but seemed like it may have been cleaned in a rush. One issue we noticed was the toilet seat wasn’t properly installed it would slam loudly every time you stood up (Room 209, second floor), which was a bit frustrating.
In the morning, the front desk staff was much more welcoming and had a great attitude. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight everything was clean, well-organized, and had a good selection. The only downside there was that one of the breakfast staff wasn’t very friendly. Lady with all the gold jewelry and long eyelashes.
Overall, we enjoyed our two-night stay. With a few small improvements in attention to detail and customer service consistency, this would be an excellent place to stay. I recommend this location.
