Welcome To The Strand, Where Luxury Living Meets The Gorgeous Waterfront Of Downtown Sarasota. A gated waterfront community, just steps from downtown Sarasota, with direct Gulf access. We provide guest access to 2 kayaks during your stay.

The Strand is Sarasota’s newest community of luxury condominium waterfront living. Close to restaurants, beaches, shopping districts, and much more. The Strand residence have direct access to the Gulf and you can enjoy beautiful Sarasota sunsets or the bay front.

Fully furnished 2BR, 2BA waterfront unit. Kitchen is set up for everything you will need for your stay. In addition to the fabulous surroundings of Downtown Sarasota, the local area has a wealth of delightful restaurants, cafes and bars that are just a stone’s throw away from our condos. From fresh seafood shacks to bar and grills that cater for all tastes, you will definitely find what you are looking for. You will be on the doorstep of more than just the finest restaurants and bars, there is a huge variety of pastimes for you and your family to indulge in, no matter age or ability. Make the most of the glorious water and charter boats to relax away from the land. For the more adventurous, there are lots of adrenaline fuelled water sports to play including parasailing and under water activities such as snorkelling and scuba diving.

Back on dry land, you can entertain the family in a number of ways. You can rent the very best bikes to explore the amazing landscape on view in Sarasota, be sure to stop on your cycles to visit more exciting places like cigar and wine bars, massage parlors, health spas and more.

Set off for a day on the crystal clear waters in your very own kayak, included to use at no charge. Feel free to bring your own paddle board or kayaks as well. You can launch from the kayak launch and get your friends and family active.

The stunning boardwalk spans 1000 square feet and offers wonderful views of the entire waterfront. Enjoy a luxurious day of fishing, have a stroll and take in the views and enjoy the sunset over the waterfront. The boardwalk is the perfect setting for a romantic meal as well as a prime fishing location for some quality alone time. To ensure a smooth and comfortable start to your stay, we provide an initial setup of supplies designed to last approximately 2 to 3 days. This thoughtful arrangement allows you ample time to settle in and get acquainted with your surroundings before embarking on any shopping adventures. From essentials to enhance your convenience, we've taken care of the basics, so you can focus on enjoying your time in our welcoming space.

Great location and amenities

Great stay and location. This condo has it all. Close to SRQ airport, excellent proximity to downtown Sarasota, beaches and St. Armands circle. The saltwater pool was perfect and the gym was high quality. Sunsets from the balcony were a favorite. The best overall stay in Sarasota so far. We'll be back!

Nice for 3 persons

Overall a nice apartmenr and great communication with owner.. Well stocked kitchen. Nice view. But… The bedding didn’t seem to be washed when we arrived. The rest of the cleaning was fine though. The sleeping arrangmentt in the livingroom need a new sleepingcouch and curtains that could block out the sun. Might be ok for very small kids? But not for larger kids or afults. So the apartment is great for 3 persons.

Clean, Quiet and Relaxing Condo

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at Jeff's condo. The location is conveniently located near downtown Sarasota, St. Armand's and Lido Beach, as well as a grocery store. The condo was very clean and well supplied. The view is great and you can see the sun set over the homes across the waterway. We were so happy at how quiet the building was. The option to use the kayaks was also a great feature. Some points to consider when booking is that the master bedroom window is blacked out so no outside light can get in. This is great at night but it didn't bother us since there is no view anyways and we didn't stay in that room that much. Also, keep in mind that one side of the bed is against the wall so if you need to get up at night you have to crawl to the foot of the bed to get out. The bed is soft but since that is a preference to some people, I wouldn't ding this as a bad thing. The single bed in the second bedroom is firmer, if that is your liking. The place is very secure to get in so you do feel safe. Overall, we would definitely recommend Jeff's property for anyone looking for a relaxing spot to unwind and recharge.

Went for work

It was a great stay. Im elderly so i wasnt able carry the kayak to the launching site (I drag mine) because i didnt want to scratch it up. The place was really wonderful. I got to see a manatee on the morning that i was leaving from the balcony.

Property owner was excellent communicating with us. Property was well kept with narrow balcony on water/river/inlet. Linens and kitchen were clean and well maintained. Very pleasant condo but access to one bathroom was not available since it was locked. Property is recommended for your Sarasota holiday

Great place to stay!

The condo and location were great. The entire grounds were very clean and the condo was exceptionally clean. Our son loves to fish, so it was nice he could just walk out in the mornings and fish and we could watch him from the balcony. We only used the kayaks once, but was a plus that they were available to us and there was a kayak launch right there. We will definitely keep this place in mind of we return next year.

Great Sarasota Condo

A really nice condo with lovely water views from the balcony. Lots of Pelican activity to enjoy. The Strand is a nice complex with a saltwater pool in a great location, close to downtown. This condo has the added value of providing 2 kayaks for guests use. We loved taking the kayaks out on the Bay. It was a definite highlight of our time there. The owner is wonderful to deal with and responds to all questions within minutes. I highly recommend a stay here.

Waterfront balcony condo

Condo is clean, new, and equipped with all basics needed. Location allowed us easy access to wherever we chose to explore. Jeff responded quickly to a question after our check in. You will enjoy a relaxing visit and a lovely water view from the balcony.

Modern and clean, great security, very uncomfortable bed.

Overall, the location and the condo are nice. However, although the bed looks great ( whole condo is very modern), the mattress is amongst the worst my wife and I have slept on. Little to no support, you sink in and feel every little movement from the other person. Sleep was hard to get, we tried the pull out sofa bed in the living room, but it was just as bad. Upon arrival we quickly and very unexpectedly were informed by local residents that the elevators didn't work and had been out of service since the last hurricane that affected the area. As you can imagine, it wasn't much fun carrying our luggage and groceries up the 3 flights of steps. On our last day there, I kindly informed Jeff about our troubles with the bed and elevator. He was quick to respond and informed me that someone had just asked where they could purchase the bed and that he knew about the elevators (and did not inform us before we arrived), but had not been updated on the current status, not what I expect when paying for "luxury". That said, I wasn't looking for a well thought out explanation, an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" would have been nice, I hope a new mattress is there for the next occupants to enjoy. As for the elevators, hopefully they are fixed soon enough, it's understandably out of his control, if that's a deal breaker for you I would definitely ask before booking. Now I'm sure Jeff is a great guy and he will look into these issues, overall we enjoyed the place just not the bed.

Great location and comfortable stay

I came to Sarasota to visit my daughter going to school near by. This place was perfect for the two of us when she stayed and i was able to work remotely. The pool was great and i used the gym several times. Had everthing we needed.

Our family stayed here for our kids spring break this year ! We really enjoyed our stay at the Strand ! Jeff, the host was quick to get back with us, and made our stay wonderful. The condo itself was beautiful, and the area was stunning ! So many things to do in this area of Serasota! Siesta keys beach 🏖️ so close too ! We really enjoyed our stay at the Strand ! Excellent Condo!

Condo is exactly as pictured and has everything you need for your stay. All the kitchen items were provided as we like to cook in. It was nice they also provided cleaning and paper products. Check-in process was well communicated and directions were very easy to follow. Jeff was very prompt with responses and easy to communicate with. The condo is in a very nice area located next to some wonderful parks with walking paths located on the water. Would highly recommend this condo to others. Jeff, thank you for everything and we will be back.
