Hidden gem close to everything!!!

Our house is seated on a quiet little street close to downtown and 10 minutes to the number 1 beach siesta key 5 minutes to Phillippi harbor marina, close to siesta key aqua adventures. Within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, bars, Publix, Trader Joe’s etc.
We offer

There are three bedrooms two with queen size beds and one with a bunkbed. The master bedroom has an adjustable bed that gives gentle massages. If there’s a baby we have a pack and play that could be used as a crib. Our sofa and love seats are very comfortable great for a movie night or family game night. This place is perfect for a family That doesn’t want to pay steep hotel prices for two rooms with no kitchen and no yard space. Our house can comfortably fit 6 people and a baby. We do have laundry on site, a screened in porch with a fan and a fire pit for the cooler nights that you can make s’more‘s with the family. We ask that you enjoy our quiet place and please NO PARTIES or loud music are allowed.
We love our space and we hope you do too!

Beware! The accuracy of the listing is falsely written. So many things to list hopefully I can cover them all here. First it says no pets in listing but there is a large sign in back yard requesting to pick up their dog mess, also a large dog bowl in the lanai. This house is a dump, old, there is mold in the shower very visible. The door to the lanai doesn't lock. Listing said sleeps 7 we had enough towels for 3 we had to go out and buy towels and wash rags, master is like an old garage well the head of bed is right by side door literally that doesn't even seal appropriately you can see the light coming from outside, the 2nd bath has hit and miss hot water had to call owner first night and vrbo. Spring break so hard to find another place after we spent all that money here! The grass in the back is so unkept the yard is just a mess! One small TV for the whole house. They told us we could arrive at 3 but the house wasn't ready until after 4, today at check out at 11 the owner arrived at 1045! Just weird. Stains all over the ceilings, the furniture is worse than goodwill its old stained junky, the lanai screening is all torn holes large ones. The advertisement for his house is false its not well kept everything in the house is old. In shocked they are renting it with mold clear as day in one of the showers the grout was disgusting. Just nasty

The house needs a lot of updating. Needs cleaning. Had ants and roach. Mice droppings. Dripping facet that they knew about. Ended up with water on the floor. They Did replace the faucet the last week of our stay. Did contact host about wanting a partial refund on the house but won’t even return our texts. Would not recommend this place till items are taken care of.

Spring Training Retreat

Four adults stayed for four nights. Location was the key factor and this place was a winner. We were 15 minutes from Ed Smith stadium. Home of the Orioles and less than 30 minutes from Bradenton and Venice. (Pirates /Braves). The property is located on a quiet street just blocks from Tamiami Trail, Rt41 which is a main road going north/south. Anything we needed was within 2 miles. The unit was as advertised. Private drive. Easy access. Clean. Screened in porch was nice for morning coffee and prep for game day. Only one TV in the house but it was more than sufficient for our needs. Kitchen was well supplied for cooking. Linens and towels were supplied. Nice to have dishwasher and laundry. Didn’t go to Siesta Key this trip but less than 5 miles to this gorgeous beach. Neighborhood was decent but the house next door appeared unoccupied and a bit run down. Not a problem for us but to let prospective tenants know. Price for the house was reasonable versus stay in a Marriott. The owner was very accessible. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Good location to Siesta Key, Turtle & Lido Key beaches. 20-30 minutes drive. Quiet neighborhood. Not far off of 41. Perfect amount of space for 4 adults.

Weekend of Sailing in Sarasota

Rented the house when my buddy and I with our wives were in Sarasota for a long weekend of sail boat racing. With two bathrooms the house was perfect for two couples. It was very clean and condition of the house matched the photos. We met a couple of the neighbors who were very friendly. Location worked well: good shopping and restaurants nearby. Easy access to downtown Sarasota and Siesta Key benches. Would rent the house again.

Such a gem

We loved every minute of our stay here. This property is beautiful. It had everything you could Possibly want to make it feel like home. We will definitely be back. The property owner was prompt when we noticed the smoke Detector was beeping for a low battery and the ease of check in and out was great! Definitely recommend this property.

Perfectly peaceful and clean

My host was very quick at replying, easy rental, location close to everything , neighborhood very peaceful and quiet, never knew anyone lived on the street seen only 3 people out walking was very clean and a warm inviting home all necessities we needed here broom was broken but we made due , everytime I went out I had forgotten to buy one but thankfully there was a swiffer dry mop/wet mop to use , it was like staying at home we are sad to leave this place it is beautiful would recommend this rental very highly . And if we come back to sarasota next year if available will try to rent the property again. Thanks so much to the host and to the property owner our stay was fantastic due to the stay in the home.

This is an older home with nice updates and it is comfortable and clean. There is a large back yard and a screened in porch that are very nice for outdoor play and relaxing.

Beware

This was the worst rental description was not accurate rental was in a very unsafe neighborhood. Called homeowner she sent over cleaning lady to see what issues were she was very rude and scary. Not very helpful bedding was dirty food left in refrigerator washer and dryer was outside also outside was a old dishwasher just sitting in the backyard. Door looked like someone tried to break in bottom was all banged up looked like someone took something metal to it. My daughters senior graduation trip was ruined by all of this and basically having to spend more money to feel safe and renting a hotel room. I hope everyone will stay clear of this rental and save yourself a major letdown and headache.
