«We can’t say enough positives about our stay here. While our host was unable to personally greet us, her son was there and showed us our accommodations. He also took the time to have us follow him in our car as he showed us across town to the market. The host Geema did show up later and presented us with a nice basket of fruit which we were able to enjoy outside by the pool. She gave us detailed instructions on how to catch the bus into Barcelona and recommended a nearby restaurant which not ...

«Lite men praktisk og rent hotellrom. Balkon var liten men grei for to personer. »

Lamaro Hotel Barcelona 5★ | Preferred Hotels & Resorts | Lifestyle Collection

10/10 Utmerket

"This is definitely one of the nicest, most luxurious and best located hotels in Barcelona. We stayed 6 nights there and really loved it. We had an executive room which provided plenty of space for us and our 15 year old daughter, with both functionally and classic furniture. Though the room is not overloaded with useless clutter and decoration, it feels home. The hotel is decently calm as the hallways are furnished with carpets. Although, being located right in between where things happen, some noise from the streets and surroundings must be accepted. The personell, especially the guys at the entrance in the lobby, are exceptional with a warmth and a serving attitude you barely find in Europe anymore. Thank you! If I want to also name things that we considered negative, I must mention the stunning roof terrace which is "sold" online as being a treat for its guests... it is not: it is a very nice bar/restaurant serving pricy drinks. As a hotel guest, you cannot just sit there and enjoy the sun. You compete with external guests (mostly influencer) that make their photos in front of the cathedral. We were also not exceptionally impressed by the breakfast restaurant which is too expensive given the service there. Especially for a family that is not used to drink champagne for breakfast. But overall, a wonderful stay, and we will definitely come back. The combination of the Lamaro hotel and the city of Barcelona is really worth it!"
