«The accommodation was very clean and modern-looking. Its situation is ideal, very quiet yet handy for Sainsburys, the restaurants of Didsbury and the many parks in the area and away from the busy main road into Manchester. The kitchen/diner/living space was on the small side for a family of 3 boisterous children.but they enjoyed themselves nevertheless. »

Yes the decor is a little dated, but we used the property as a base, and weren't there to rate the standard of decor. «A lovely, welcoming property, which was perfect for a catch up, with ample beds, towels and bedding, enough utensils for cooking a quick meal before relaxing with drinks on the patio, in the hot tub, in the airy living space or all of the above! «Perfect for exploring Chester on foot and close to the station. Lovely comfy beds but the house itself was not as clean as I would have liked and there are a few maintenance issues but nothing to spoil the stay. We had a great week there. The size of the house was perfect for our family of 5 with older teenagers, not a huge amount of living space for a bigger group though.»

Left over takeaway containers and McDonald’s wrappers left in the fridge from previous occupants. «We enjoyed our time here; Richard was easy to contact and is very generous with items/ foods etc for us to use. It’s probably the best equipped kitchen of houses we have stayed in. The beds were comfortable, the showers were easy to use and the garden area is beautiful. The ducks charmed our grandchildren and we enjoyed the hot tub. «Our family of 5 (13,16,16, 2-adults) had a great experience! Dave and Cath we VERY responsive to all questions, and the home was perfect. They live on a great hobby farm with lots of animals to see. Perfect 5min walk to a cute small town including: grocery, meat market, coffee, and great shopping, great views, excellent hospitality (and the farm fresh eggs and brownies we delish!). For the golfers, there’s even an excellent 18 hole golf course 5 minutes away! Don’t miss out on this rental!»

«We stayed in the house for a week with 6 kids aged 10 months to 12 years. The house itself was amazing with loads of space and activities for the whole family. The house is situated in a perfect location, close enough to walk into the town centre to take advantage of local parks, shops and bars/restaurants as well as being in the heart of the Peak District. For large families looking for a great place to get away together, I would strongly recommend this house.»
