We reported the issue and were moved to another apartment, which we appreciated, but there was no apology for the situation, no acknowledgment of how unpleasant it was, and no compensation for the food that had been contaminated and had to be thrown away. «Really nice and comfortable accomodation, room was clean and just enough space for a family of 7. A bit outside of Main street, but that fitted us and our needs. Got reccomended a hike in the nearby forest, and had a very interesting hike with the kids. Spectacular breakfast in the little cafè next door.»

The only glitch was retrieving keys/cards from corner shop...its awfully unorganised and just a mess to search through. I figured it out, but im sure there are many who struggle. Not having a front desk was no issue at all - staff were super responsive via chat/message and everything was explained very clearly. They do ask people to leave luggage/unload at the front of property and then drive through to the back to park, but there is a door connecting the car park to inside the main building, so not sure why they do that.
