The Cottage at Glen Ewan - private cottage on cattle farm

The Cottage has been fully renovated and is situated on a working cattle farm with approx. 100 head of cattle including calves at the doorstep. The Cottage is on a shared property with the main house located approx 200m to east of the Cottage.

The Cottage is short stroll to the banks of the Hastings River for a fish, crabbing or a swim. (Check with host as this may not be accessible at time of stay due to cattle paddock rotation).

The Cottage is located just off the Pacific Highway and nestled on the banks of the Hastings River, it is located approximately 12 minutes drive to Port Macquarie CBD and beaches and a 7 minute drive to the nearest boat ramp at Fernbank Creek.

This two bedroom cottage is complete with spilt system air conditioning and smart TV’s in both of the bedrooms and living area. The living area opens onto a large north facing deck with views of the Hastings River. One comprises a queen size bed with built in wardrobes, the second bedroom has two options for sleep arrangements with either a king bed or two singles and large built in wardrobes. Both bedrooms have smart TV's available to stream Netflix, Stan etc.

Bedding configuration is 1 x Queen and 1 x King or 1 x Queen and 2 x Singles. Pricing is based p/n on Queen or King for 2 x guests, additional guests are $15 p/n. Configuration to be confirmed at time of booking. If booking for 2 x guests it will be King or Queen only, other room will be closed off and not accessible. Bedding configurations cannot be changed for same day bookings, you will be advised during the booking review process what the current configuration is.

A large bathroom with toilet, bath and walk in shower including starter kit of shampoo, conditioner and soap. Hair dryer supplied.

Full sized kitchen with breakfast bar dining with servery window to large deck with BBQ and outdoor dining for up to 8. Dishwasher (1 x dishwashing tablet supplied), full size oven, gas cook top, microwave, air fryer, a limited supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk to get you started, along with a Nespresso coffee pod machine with limited supply of coffee pods.

Comfortable sized loungeroom with bi-slide doors that open onto large deck.

Laundry including front load washing machine and dryer (no external clothesline - clothes airer provided), ironing board and iron also available. There is a seperate toilet off laundry.
