«We came for a Change of Command at NAS Whidbey Island and the location was perfectly located between the base and our other events. Being near Deception Pass, we took advantage of going into the park, early morning you could see deer. Both in the park and in the yard. The photos accurately describe the chalet, it is beautiful and rustic. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen was well equipped if you so desired to do so. «Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location.»

«This house is perfect for a couple or family. Two bedrooms with queen beds and the softest sheets and comforter. A full sized kitchen and family, facing the bay. A beautiful deck with bbq and comfortable seating. There’s a separate structure/studio which has a queen sized bed and heated flooring. The grounds are beautifully kept with extra sitting areas. Highly recommend, will go back again!»
