SUMMARY
This stunning oceanfront penthouse is perched at the southernmost tip of South Mission Beach—away from the busy boardwalk crowds yet just a short walk to Belmont Park, local shops, and restaurants. Step outside to enjoy beach volleyball and basketball courts, with the sand stretching right up to the front of the building. The ocean is only a few minutes away on foot, while the bay is even closer—less than a two-minute walk. Parks, playgrounds, and the boardwalk are all nearby, and SeaWorld is just a five-minute drive away.

Enjoy sweeping views of the ocean, jetty, boat channel, and Dog Beach. This spacious retreat includes 3 bedrooms, a den that can be closed off for a 4th sleeping area, 2.5 bathrooms, A/C, and 2 private ocean-view patios. Comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests (maximum of 10 adults). Dogs are welcome!

INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS
As soon as you enter the penthouse, you're greeted with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking ocean views. The open-concept living area features a large flat-screen Smart TV with cable, a cozy gas fireplace, and sliding patio doors that lead out to your private oceanfront patio—perfect for soaking in sunset views.

The adjacent dining area offers two dining tables with combined seating for up to 12 guests, and the fully stocked kitchen makes cooking a breeze. Off the living room, the den includes a full-size pull-out sofa with a memory foam mattress. For privacy, retractable walls allow it to function as a screened sleeping area. There's also a queen-size plush air mattress available for additional sleeping space.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
All three bedrooms are equipped with TVs and their own electric fireplaces for added comfort.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, a private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom with a double shower and jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed, and the third bedroom includes two double beds—great for kids or additional guests.

Off the hallway, you'll find a full bathroom with a jetted tub and shower combo, as well as a convenient half bath. In-unit laundry is also available for guest use.

Guest Requirements – To comply with HOA and local regulations, the primary renter must be at least 30 years old. For groups made up entirely of adults, all guests must meet the minimum age requirement.
Occupancy – Maximum occupancy includes both overnight guests and daytime visitors and must not exceed the number stated in your reservation. Exceptions may be made for children under age 2. Overcrowding or exceeding occupancy limits may result in termination of the reservation without a refund.

Super July 4th family week

Lovely location with fantastic view of river and beach. Easy walk to both the ocean and bay. Very accommodating host who made us feel very welcome and who answered any questions we had quickly. Fun area to celebrate a July 4th week with many other family members at other nearby rentals.

Check in and parking was super easy. The beach was a very short walk away. The storage of beach items was a nice surprise. Plenty of towels and beach towels available. I’d only recommend a couple more fans, where there is no AC.

We had the best time staying at the property. It was easy to locate. They had everything we needed there from the kitchen to going out onto the beach! It was so nice to spend time with family. The hosts were very kind. Loved loved that there was parking! Can’t wait to do it again with family! Hopefully next time we’ll just rent out the whole top floor with more family being able to join us next time! Could not recommend this place more!

Amazing views, perfect location

This was the perfect beach house to celebrate my mom's 82nd birthday. The elevator and tile floors made it easy for my mom to get around in her walker and wheelchair. The views are amazing especillay at sunset. We saw pods of dolphins from the balcony and just watching the boats come and go was all the entertainment we needed from the comfort of the living room. The fireplaces in the bedrooms were great. We really loved this place, one of the best we've stayed at.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

Beautiful condo with an impeccable view. It was immaculate and decorated perfectly. The only disappointment was that it was advertised as a 4 bedroom unit, but there are only 3. What is considered the 4th bedroom is a den-type space with foldable walls, and only a pull out sofa to sleep on. Everything else was fantastic. The welcome gift basket was greatly appreciated! Would love to stay again!

Perfect place for family reunion!

Half of our family lives right here in SD but thought it would be great to have our family all in one home for the weekend and feel very fortunate we stumbled on this property. Our hosts were amazing and made sure all communications were clear. They really helped ensure that everything went seamlessly for our family weekend beach escape. The property itself was a fabulous fit for our family and the location offered something for everyone. If you're looking for that sun n fun SoCal beach vacation experience, this would be it!! :) We loved it so much we are talking about the things we learned this round that we will use for next time...

Great home for extended family

We loved this home. There were 8 of us staying with the graduate and his friends visiting for celebrations here.. Plenty of room for all of us to be comfortable and also to host brunch on the morning of graduation and barbecue on the afternoon of grandson’s Air Force Commissioning. Great views of the ocean/beach and bay. The noise from the airport jets taking off in the early AM was major though…no sleeping once they began their ascent and then througout, the day, less disruptive as the day progressed as you are up and about then and so the noise does not create the same upset/disturbance to the peace and quiet as in the early morning.

Incredible View - No tv ever needed!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a condo with a view that will keep your eyes busy and your soul happy! The condo is set up perfectly to share with another couple and even has a 3rd bedroom for the kiddos. You can watch some beach volleyball, boats coming and going and humanity at its finest. Anything you would ever need is there for you and I can't say enough about how incredible our hosts were. They checked on us each day and made us feel very cared for.

The house is beautiful with an amazing panoramic view of the ocean and spacious master suite. Great floorplan and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Dana and Becky were terrific hosts, extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. The South Mission Beach location is much better than Central Mission Beach with privacy on your balcony instead of tons of foot traffic in front of you when trying to relax on the patio, but close enough for a short walk or bike to Central Mission Beach of Pacific Beach. Would highly recommend this place and hosts. Can't wait to go back!

Great Views

Had a good stay. There was construction noise but owners were in touch the whole time and were very understanding, as well as warning us beforehand when we booked the stay so we can't hold it against them. Views from the balconies, especially the master bedroom, are about as good as you can get. The furniture is a bit worn but an incredibly comfy couch. My only issue related to the condo itself is that the kitchen unfortunately doesn't live up to the rest of the listing. It doesn't seem to have been updated for a few decades and is worse than the photos make it look: I wouldn't plan on doing much cooking. Aside from that we had a great stay, especially considering the short notice on our booking and that they allowed our cat, which no other listing in the area did.

Beautiful Views!

This place was plenty of room for our group of 9. And the views were fantastic! We arrived at a busy time of day on a Saturday so it took us twenty minutes to drive the street to the condo thanks to lots of traffic at Belmont Park. Somehow I hadn’t noticed that there was only one way in/out to the unit so that was kind of a pain (poor observation on my part but something to take more of!). The unit itself was more dated than it appeared in the pics but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. There was no A/C and in August it was hot and muggy. Thankfully, there were stand fans everywhere so it wasn’t too bad. Also, I am not normally a fan of foam mattresses but was surprised to find these didn’t hurt my back. The patios are much smaller than they appear in the pictures. There’s a note that the fridge is struggling but it was fine for us. Our group had two Suburbans so parking was stressful but they fit in the two spots provided. Yay! The best part was the beach access. We spent our week being busy but each day we wandered down to the volleyball courts or beach. It was so cool being right there! Beaches were busy but clean. Overall, this is a perfect spot if you love the beach and plan on staying there the entire trip. If you plan on being busy with day trips, this might not be the ideal place due to the single entrance/exit and the chaos of Belmont Park.

Wonderful Fit for Our Family & Friends

This rental offered plenty of space for our group of 10 people. The location was honestly breathtaking and the beach was right out the front door. It was very close to many of the wonderful attractions San Diego has to offer as many locations were less than 20 minutes away. Parking was a breeze and provided our vehicles with a safe place to park. Overall it was a wonderful stay and definitely would book again! :)

50th Wedding Anniversary

We had our 50th wedding anniversary and invited our Children and grandchildren to stay with us for the weekend to celebrate. This home was plenty large enough to accommodate all 12 of us for a perfect weekend. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of seating for our anniversary prime rib dinner. It was so enjoyable to sit on our patio with our morning coffee and watch all the activity on the jetty and the volleyball courts. Dana and Becky were very responsive for any questions or problems. We hope we are able to stay in this home again.

Clean and Comfy

We had a great time. Beds were comfy and plenty of of space to spread out. Location is convenient to both beach and bay sides and has beautiful views. Note that this is a busy, well trafficed beach area and not one of the more quiet places on the bay.

Family time

My family really enjoyed staying at this place. Loved walking the boardwalk. Place was clean, loved sitting out on the patio with view of ocean. Hosts were great. They respond quickly if you have any problems. Will definitely rent this place again.

Amazing location and space

This was an amazing place to stay. Plenty of space and room for everyone. The only thing was that the home wasn’t really children friendly. There were wall to floor mirrors and side tables that had glass top. One of our kids leaned on it and it slid off and shattered. We contacted Dana and Becky for a vacuum to clean up or to send the cleaners and they were quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again. It was very close to the beaches and our children enjoyed the short walk. Thank you for having us!
