Boasting all new flooring throughout, along with a well equipped and charming new kitchen you are sure to feel right at home. Lots of natural light fills the space to create an airy vibe of serene coastal comfort. Enjoy the clean and simple modern interior design with all new furnishings that carry throughout with a blue, black and white theme. Soak up the sunny weather from the privacy of your own back patio or be in the middle of the action and sit on the comfortable and well furnished front patio space and watch other beach goers come and go.
Just a short 1 block walk to the bay to have your toes in the sand and take in a stunning sunrise or sunset. Your home away from home is sure to give you a taste of the local lifestyle that is the quintessential California dream.

The main living room area provides a cozy setting to lounge and visit as a group. The bedrooms in the main house are perfectly cozy and can accommodate 8 guests. A bonus studio sits outside the main house and off the backyard patio with a private bathroom, kitchenette and daybed that converts to a comfortable king bed.

The highlight of this home and the heart of where you will be creating those memories with your loved ones will be the front patio space. Semi-private while also in the mix of the local scene. The outdoor space is a modern oasis featuring ample seating around the fire pit and patio table so you can dine al fresco in the beautiful San Diego temperatures. For more privacy you can also find time relaxing on the back patio on the sun loungers. Two patio spaces give you options for enjoying the sun by day and in the evening under the strings of patio lights you can continue to enjoy all that this home has to offer.

Great location but BUGS EVERYWHERE

Staying here of course the pictures look way better than the actual house but it was nice cozy and it smelled clean when walking in. We arrived and everything looked okay until we woke up in the middle of the night killing ants all over the place especially in the kitchen. We had just went to the grocery store and bought all the essentials over 200 dollars worth of stuff only to wake up to them covered in ANTS AND ROACHES. I KEPT LEAVING MESSAGES AFTER MESSAGES AND NO ONE CAME OR GOT BACK TO ME. Anyway long story short yeah it was okay. The furniture outside was super sun bleached looking old and dingy, the yard had small parking but the area was not cleared so we got weeds and stuck with thorns getting out of the car, and no would not recommend because of the bug infestations and never to get a call back was the most pathetic thing of all especially after payin almost 2 grand to stay here

Beautiful house, perfect location

We would rent this house again! Our 15 year old and her friend stayed in the bunkhouse which couldn’t have worked out better. We loved the patio and the proximity to the beach. We needed some assistance from property management and they were prompt.

Wonderful Location!

Our family of 7 had a great stay here. Central location for all the activities in the area and within walking distance of the beach. We really enjoyed the fire pit on the porch for reminiscing on the days’ events. Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

Amazing location!

Rome at Mission Sands and was wonderful and went over the top to get me the answers I needed which is very rare these days. The house was as pictured and was perfect for us to help my son to relax and rehab his knee. The pillows, beds and blankets were all very comfortable. FYI There is very loud road construction 1/2 block up between 7am and 2pm m-f that has been going on since June. The only complaint was that the floor and kitchen was not as clean as expected but I would book again for sure especially since Mission Sands was very responsive on all requests!

Perfect San Diego Base Camp

Our family of five loved our stay in PB! Walking distance to beaches and restaurants. The included parking space, laundry, and beach supplies were well used and appreciated. Enough space in the unit for all of us to spread after a day of exploring the area together. My 16 year old son safely stayed in the backyard “apartment” and very much enjoyed his bachelor pad. My daughter loved relaxing on the front patio and the fire pit was frequently used at night for s’mores. Great location to enjoy PB and an easy drive to explore La Jolla, Mission Beach, and downtown San Diego. Highly recommend!

I recommend this place

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this property. There were so many pros to this place that I definitely would recommend it. But I do also want to mention some of the cons just so future renters are prepared. Pros-the location (15 minute walk to beach/Pacific beach bars, two minute walk to the beautiful bay and a quick 15 minute drive to the airport), The patio was so adorable with a big table and a lounge area with a fireplace which made our evenings special, plus there was a backyard hang out area that was huge, the kitchen had the basics to cook, the parking was secure and it fit two large vehicles, there was laundry (no detergent), and overall the house was very clean and decorated cute! Cons- the main bathroom sink wouldn’t drain (they may not know about this yet), there were 8 girls staying here (6 in the main house) which had one tiny bathroom and no mirrors in certain bedrooms with no convenient plugs so getting ready was a hassle. The kitchen was TINY and the flow of traffic could go through the kitchen or den but you’ll have the den blocked off as a bedroom so everyone needed to walk through the kitchen tiny “hallway” to get to each side of house which was tight and annoying if someone was cooking. There were 4 propane tanks for the fire pit and grill but almost all were empty (again they might not know). There is no AC except in the back house so be aware if it’s during hot months (this wasn’t a problem for us), not sure if a neighbor or the owner has a cat but there was a cat with collar that stood outside our bedroom one night and cried to come in and also note that 2 of the 3 king beds are pull out day beds that combine two smaller beds. All of the cons weren’t deal breakers and we really did enjoy the stay. It was beautiful and I would recommend staying here!

Beach Weekend Success

The bungalow was a great location and perfect for our stay. Only a block away from the bay and a close walk to the beach. Loved the outdoor living space in the front patio. The house was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely return again for another stay!

Cute!!

What an adorable cottage!! We used two bedrooms in the main house and had our older kiddo and her friend in the backyard studio. There are plenty dishes, pots/pans, kitchen utensils and towels. The kitchen appliances work great and the space is efficiently organized. Parking is secure and our two cars (SUV and Mini Cooper) fit perfectly. The cottage is cute as can be. The shed in back has laundry, beach toys and bikes. A few things to note : 1) The cottage is on a busy street; there are two lovely patios, but the traffic noise makes it challenging to enjoy the larger one in front. The bedrooms are in the back of the house which was good; the traffic did not keep us awake; 2) There is no A/C. We were lucky that the high temps were low 70’s; we were fine. If temps were much warmer, it would get uncomfortable quickly. 3) Bath #2 is in the backyard studio; for those staying in the main house, everyone will share the single, small, but adequate bathroom. 4) The coffee maker uses Kuerig pods as opposed to ground/drip (for those whose coffee is as important to them as it is to me). This property is ideal if you are looking to spend time on the bay, 1.5 blocks to Fanuel Park. For ocean, it still works, but it’s about 6 blocks’ walk (very doable). I need to acknowledge Mission Sands. We’d reserved another property that fell through (due to the owners, not Mission Sands). This property management company went out of their way to find us another rental. With limited availability over a holiday weekend, they did really well!!
