«Overall a pretty good experience. The pools were great, bars were great, staff were okay.
Specific cons: The food at the “Steakhouse” was lack luster. The steak was way too smokey. The “Lobster House” was pretty much empty, and it took 45 minutes to get our food. «Beautiful resort with a wonderful staff. Breakfast buffet is excellent. No dinner buffet which, for me, was a negative. The best restaurant, by far, was MB. Wound up eating there 3 of 5 nights. Varenna, the Italian restaurant, was a strong second, but was closed on Friday night, which was disappointing. Not included in the all-inclusive plan was Carnivore, a steak house. «The hotel itself is very good; however, the music becomes extremely loud from 10 a.m., especially in the pool area. Music is also played in other areas, but it is drowned out by the pool music, turning it all into noise when multiple songs are playing at the same time.
There are a lot of families with children, which leads to a lot of shouting and screaming in the restaurants. This makes it unsuitable for those who want to dine in a calm and quiet environment.»
