Veldig fint opphold
Hotellet er hotell/studentbolig og det funket veldig fint. Hotellet lå i et roligere strøk, samtidig som det var kort vei til Vatikanet, og fullt mulig å gå inn til byen. Ellers var det kort vei til togstasjon.

Actually our rooms are considered comfortable from our dear guests, but we take into great consideration all the tips that came to our guests.The local tax in Rome has been increased from the Municipal administration since the 1st October. This tax do not depends neither belongs to the property itself .We are sorry if before your arrival this has not been clarified.Hope to meet you again very soon!

The property is gated and entrance is controlled.nice but a long walk to the Vatican gate. The unit we were in needs a bit of sprucing up. The staff were pleasant ,helpful .Valerio at the reception helped us with reservation to the Vatican museum and arranged our transportation to Cevicchia port.

The room you booked, the double on 2 levels, has 2 single beds on a mezzanine, as per our room description on the expedia web site, and has no tv among the services available. Had great difficulty getting out gate from parking lot onto Via Alberici. I had meetings at Casa Bonus Pastor which was a very short walk from Camplus on Alberici to Via Aurelia. There should be a pad that you can use your room key to exit as well as re-enter just like the main gate on Via del Cottolengo. On two occasions, I had to return to desk twice for assistance. -fr. But if you just ring the bell or call us, in a few seconds the gate will be open. We are sorry if the person in charge at the desk in 2 occasions was not in the conditions to open it immediately. Somehow I missed that this facility is a dormitory. They rent 30 rooms to travelers. Staff was helpful & responsive

Dear Marcia,Camplus actually is a residence, both for university students and for short-stay guests. Students live in a separate wing and have different accommodation but this is the special Camplus formula that lots of people like to enjoy! Thank you for having mentioned it.

What I liked about the area is that it was very close to the Vatican. I also like the fact that we could walk several eating places. I would have liked for them to offer options for meals. Stay open for service longer hours. Offer coffee! On our first day we did have a receptionist who very rude. Thank goodness we did not see her the rest of stay. The rest of the staff was friendly and willing to help.

This property is a combo college/university dorm and hotel. It was a great place to stay — large, spacious and quiet rooms. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. And, there is a super convenient cafeteria right downstairs with very affordable prices. I really enjoyed my stay here, and the price was fabulous. The room was so clean and modern.

This is not a hotel but a university campus that hires out rooms. We booked a duplex but did not expect weird metal steps up to the beds. Great for students but not really suitable for two ladies of a certain age. The snack bar is basic but the service was friendly . The room had no soft furnishings. Just two plastic chairs and a long plastic table/desk. Every sound was magnified as nothing to soak up the noise. And nowhere comfortable to sit. No tv or music. The balcony was nice and very spacious. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily. The reception staff were nice and very helpful with directions etc. It’s located in a residential area. It was a good 15 minute walk to St Peter’s Square. The same to a bus/train stop. I will definitely visit Rome again but would stay somewhere more central. The area is not very pleasant so you wouldn’t want to eat or drink locally. Advertising it as a hotel is a bit misleading to be honest.

In the room description is mentioned that the beds are on a second level, so before confirming the booking we kindly suggest our Guests to contact us for more detailed info.Camplus is not a University campus, but a residence-hotel which has a wing dedicated to host University and Erasmus students. Another separated wing with different room style and services is dedicated to short-stay guests.In your room services was not listed the tv, in fact the mezzanine rooms have a small kitchenette at your disposal but no tv. We are located in a central and safe area, just 7 minetes walking from St. Peter's Square, called Prati, that is one of the most elegant quarters in Rome: it is really hard to understand why you have found it "not very pleasant", we are sorry if you had a bad impression of it. It is a quartes full of supermarkets, very typical restaurants and all the services you may need as a cityzen, therefore is really appreciated from who wants to live Rome as romans do.Hope to meet you again in a double comfort!

Pros: Gemma welcomed us and checked us in. Gemma is very kind, and hospitable. She represents the hotel very well. Room with high ceilings made it feel large and spacious. Nice cool floors and AC. No tv. Room had a large patio where you can eat and socialize outdoors. My travel friends, who booked their own rooms, and I visited the nearby Carrefour market, bought breakfast goods and had morning breakfast on the patio. We used the Via de Cottalango, wooden gate entrance which was a helpful tip from a previous reviewer. Easy 20 min. walking distance to the Vatican. We had the front desk call for a taxi every day to take us to our meeting points for tours. We did not use the Metro since it was too far. Taxi service is very efficient and prompt. Local neighborhood restaurant, Papa Rex, was excellent. Order the fish dish. Cons: Inconsistent housekeeping. On the second day, my bed was made but no fresh towels. I thought it was due to water conservation, but my friends were given fresh towels. On another day, my room was skipped from housekeeping altogether while my travel friends had their rooms consistently cleaned. After a hot, tiring day in the sun, a nice clean room is something to look forward to but they dropped the ball in this area, unfortunately.

Een hele propere en rustige omgeving. Op het domein binnenkomen via poort, goed afgesloten. Vriendelijk onthaal dat 24/7 beschikbaar is. Zeker een goed idee om een kamer met terras te nemen om 's avonds gezellig uit te rusten na het bezoeken van de stad. Frigo op de kamer aanwezig, alsook waterkoker - thee - koffie, en mogelijkheid om (ontbijt) te eten in de refter voor zeer democratische prijzen. Ook airco op de kamer, ideaal met hoge temperaturen. Bus is op 2 minuten wandelen, maar het is ook doenbaar om alles te voet te doen.

The stay was very enjoyable. Offered A/C, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean and modern. I really enjoyed my stay here, it was walking distance from the Vatican, and the bus stop that takes you to the colosseum or the Trevi fountain was a short 5 minute walk. Very good hotel.

Property is slightly hidden - call for directions before you arrive if you’re walking! Wonderful place though, clean and spacious and close to the train station and a bus that takes you into Rome city center. Front desk was very friendly and helpful!

I booked this place bc it’s in walking distance from Vatican City. Very close to everything if you like to walk or catch a cab anywhere. It’s clean have plenty of beds in each room if you’re looking to squeeze in two to three in a place

The beds are bad. Very difficult to find, but I guess is tipical in Rome. Good location, nice property.

A great hidden gem among the other hotels in Rome. Gated campus with lots of greenery. There were many nearby restaurants and bars that were at a much cheaper price than you'd find near the big Roman attractions.
