«The staff were so pleasant to talk to and since my wife and I were not able to climb stairs, we were upgraded to a first floor room. The breakfast served every day was so delicious and ready when we were. Everything we needed was taken care of by wonderful people. Also all the attractions are within walking distance since the hotel is located downtown. I highly recommend the Melville House and we will be staying there again.»

«I enjoyed the stay so much. My room was stunning. It was clean,big, and very comfortable. You are given a code to get through the front door and a code to get into your room. It was very easy. Such a beautiful place the best place I've stayed in a very long time.»

«Rooming house similar to university student rentals I have owned. Have to go upstairs & down a hallway to get a shower. Located on a busy road and the house is right up against the sidewalk. There must be bars nearby as lots of cars with loud stereos and no mufflers driving by at 1:30 am several nights in a row. Listing says they have cots available. Not so.»

«I got to the room at 10 pm and it had never been serviced. Bathroom towels on the floor, bed sheets all over the place. But this is not a hotel, really, but a room in some building far away from where you check in. I cancelled the second night and nobody has every called back, or apologized, or credited me with this horrible experience.»
