«This is a wonderful place with a gracious host. The large stone fireplace was appreciated on a couple of cold evenings. The sun porch with storm windows was one of our favorite places to read, chat, play games, and view the ever changing lake, sky, and trees. «The staff at the Himton hotel were very accommodating, friendly and treat you very well. My wife and I had a great experience staying there and will certainly stay there again. The only issue I had was not with Hilton, however it was with hotels.com and their 3rd party stay protection company. I accidentally booked a 2 night stay at another hotel and realized I had made a mistake. I did purchase the stay protection plan which would allow me to cancel at anytime and get my money back.
