«Cabin was nice and fresh upon arrival. Cute, cozy, and perfect for 2 travelers. Had everything we needed to stay in and cook if needed. Tracy was easy to contact and accommodate on a request for an additional fan. Highly recommend for day trips into Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Definitely coming back!»

«The cabin is very convenient to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. It is charming exactly as pictured and very comfortable. The host provided fresh eggs and breakfast fixings. We really enjoyed the porch swing on screened porch watching the goats and horses after hiking in the Canyon. We would definitely recommend this property for a trip to Palo Duro Canyon or just a West Texas experience!»

«Location was excellent. Beds werw very comfortable. Wifi, washer and dryer along with garage were great bonuses. Communication with the host was excellent through text. The Vrbo communications were not accurate with multiple emails of messages that were not in the inbox. At the property, the grill and patio windows were covered in cobwebs and heavy dust with grill cover off and covered in the same. Complimentary snacks were two bags of trail mix and jar of lifesavers (didn't match pics). Coffee ...

«Our stay at the Dove’s Rest Fortress was like a dream! This place was beyond stunning! The pictures really can’t capture how beautiful the view really is. The views from the back patio are just breathtaking! The home is spacious and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and lots of towels and blankets and toilet paper. Jeff is a super host! Very responsive and kind. He even had a bottle of champagne, and two keep-sake Dove Rest glasses waiting for us for a special occasion. John and Bambi »
