«We thought the room was lovely. Well decorated with lots of nice touches. The two staff I spoke to were polite and helpful. Our room had a lovely view of the beach. The parking was quite easy in the multi store in the precinct. The room was clean but could do with a few finishing touches, like for example a hole in the floor which had been filled in but not finished off properly. The bathroom needs a blind at the window. «I arrived on a Sunday and had sent a message several days before to say that I would like an evening meal. I went to the dining area at 8pm only to be told that the kitchen had closed for the evening so I was unable to get anything to eat that evening although I was offered crisps. On arrival I was told that the bar would be open until late so I assumed that I would be able to get a bar meal up until about 10pm. «The facilities are being added to : restaurants etc. our room, themed room: Cape Town was decorated to good standard. The best breakfast, parking and access was very good. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. It was great experience and would go again Thanks to all the staff.»

«We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings»

«Green Gable is an old hotel in a quiet area. It looks nice from the outside and we were lucky to get one of the parking spaces outside the hotel. We rented flat B on third floor. It was bigger than expected. Quite old fashioned and not very cosy, but ok for the two nights we stayed. There was a Sainsbury local just around the corner, but we went in the car to go to town. For a couple of nights I would reccomend it, but for a longer stay I would prefer a to stay at a cosier hotel. A plus for ...

«Beautiful location and friendly host and staff who did everything to make our stay a memorable experience. As we and other guests were visiting the Teddy Swims event in Scarborough the host played his video in the lounge and waited for everyone to return after the event. Property is dated but as the saying goes “if it works don’t fix it.”»

«For the cost of the room I expected more modern decor and room facilities. Very basic bath/shower combo, basic tea making facilities and dated decor/room furniture. The view from the room was fantastic but the view alone shouldn’t warrant such high prices.»
