«Great property, facilities and supplies were very good. Our main issue was the bunk beds do not have much head height on the lower bunk, and we could not use the top bunks for the kids as the safety rails only just reached the top of the mattress and they would fall out if rolled in the night. Otherwise very happy with the cabin and hosts.»

I would have given it a 5 stars if the shower screen over the bath tubs is a bit wider so that the water not splash out to the floor. Anyway I would stay again next time.»

«A beautiful little cabin that has been cleverly made from a mix of new and repurposed materials. Had everything you needed for bedding and in the kitchen. Wifi was very patchy so definitely don’t plan to do any computer time. It’s best for just switching off and watching the birds across the bush line. Just magic.»

«We loved our stay at Solitary Retreat. The view is spectacular and the house is well equipped and very comfortable. We liked the fact that we could relax and switch off for a few days. It is centrally situated and a great place to base yourself to explore the Blue Mountains. Will certainly stay again when in the area.»

«We travelled to the Blue Mountains to take part in the UTA trail running series. The Origami Apartmebt was the perfect base for this and many other activities. The Apartment was beautifully presented. We really appreciated the excellent amenities, in particular the effective heating system, the large kitchen and sunlit back deck with wonderful views, the large bath (for soaking tired limbs after the run) and the proximity to the local bushwalks.
