«we couldn't stay and found other arrangements because I didn't know that we'd have to climb 3 flights of stairs and we weren't able to bring our luggage up stairs.. and the parking lot was full. We finally found a park way down on a main street, but so many homeless were out there we were too scared to leave our luggage in the car. «It is really very close to the beach, you can even walk it.i also love the place itself. very quiet. The only thing really is the air con is very loud that you can’t sleep! That is the tie breaker. Either you sleep in comfort with the loud sound of the air conditioner blasting loud into your ear or hot but quiet during the night. Its is a ground floor so it was nice to look out on the lanai to see the lush plants and little mongoose running around. Parking was great right in front of our place a big plus. «This property was wonderful. We have stayed at Kona Plaza before and love the location. It is also surprisingly quiet for being right in town. The lanai is wonderful and so relaxing. It exceeded our expectations regarding supplies - all the condiments we needed and never had to purchase more paper towels or toilet paper. «Very cool property, outdated with water damage. For the price I would expect pool to be free from bees and worms. Hard to see tv due too left side screen being dark, and have some packets of cream and sugar for the great coffee you have. Overall, good.»
