«The property itself was as listed, but we spent an hour trying to find it. We had to stop and ask a resident of the area for directions. He said “good luck with that place. They’ve been shut down a few times” He also warned us about copperheads and rattlesnakes. We were never able to contact the host. VRBO offered to find us another place. We ended up staying at a hotel. VRBO said that they will compensate us for the cost »

«What a beautiful and unique stay!! We love horses and my 11 year old daughter enjoyed petting them. It was also really neat at night when sitting on the porch in the dark with the fire and string of porch lights. We weren’t able to see out into the pasture and then would hear the horses wander over to our area. Loved it so much!! My 7 year old son fell in love with the goats. The host was so kind and wonderful with communication! She even offered for our kids to help feed the goats and they ...

It is in a trailer park neighborhood but super quiet. There was a trailer park kitty (we named him Larry) that hung out with us. The super happy bears were everywhere. Super cute and happy. «This house exceeded my expectations in nearly every way. If you are going to Mammoth Cave National Park and need a well kept, spacious, and affordable place to stay, this is it. The house has 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen. It is ideal for two couples. It also has a large sectional with a couple of recliners built in where one or two could sleep if needed. The kitchen has all the normal amenities, and there were plenty of spare sheets, blankets, and towels. The ...
