«We enjoyed our stay. Lovely hotel. Didn’t go to breakfast or use the pool like we had planned. We were too tired from our excursions but the room was clean and well stocked and the bed was comfy. On our second day our keys didn’t work. We had to go to the front desk. She reactivated them and we were on our way. Not a big deal but we had bags. Other than that perfect stay. »

«Checked in at 9:30pm with a very nice, polite reception clerk. Went to room and discovered the inn as being completely run down. Though an obvious effort had been made to clean, there was a musty smell, loud rambling ac unit and we could hear everything from the family in the adjacent room. Bathroom was in poor shape. The bed was uncomfortable and we were unable to sleep. My wife was so distraught and disgusted we checked out 3hrs later and forfeited the stay. Got back on the road and kept ...

«1 star – Scam listing, avoid at all costs I booked a stay at what was listed as the Oyo motel in Cave City, KY through Expedia, and it turned out to be completely fraudulent. When we arrived, the property looked nothing like the photos. The building was dark, run-down, and clearly not in operation. There were no lights on, no staff, and a sign on the door stating that the “Countryside Inn is not associated with OYO or the past owners” and that anyone who booked online would need to contact ...

«We needed a place to stay overnight and to park or car. That is what we got. A shower that was not cold, or a bed that had the floor under it cleaned, a curtain not held together by safety pins, or creme cheese or butter for toast... all of these things would have been nice to have, but were not provided.»

«Check-in and check-out process was easy. Staff was friendly. There was a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but parking was easy and it was a short drive to surrounding cities and Mammoth Cave National Park. It was a great budget place to shower and sleep after a long day of hiking and exploring.»

«Tonya was tremendously helpfully and communicative when needed. The property was well stocked (with many left behind items from other guests which I do not prefer, but it is not altogether uncommon at a rental). I must have missed in the property description that the only means of heat was a wood burning stove. This wasn’t a big issue as I grew up with one, but it had gone out before I realized that it was our heat source and I had to restart it and keep it stoked. Once we realized this there ...
