«We were a large group in town for my brother’s funeral. My sister in law’s house was too small to entertain so many family members and friends and the McQueeney house was perfect. Only 10 of us stayed overnight but it couldn’t have been better. Close to the funeral in New Braunfels and close-ish to Fort Sam Houston. It was beautiful and comfortable and well appointed. «The house had a beautiful view of the water and the nice homes across the lake. The outdoor space was incredible with all sorts of water toys. I enjoyed using the new griddle while watching the kids be kids. Fishing wasn’t great, but the kids had a good time reeling in some small pan fish. We would definitely stay at Opa’s Haus again!»

«The hot tub was amazing! I was looking for a place with a hot tub and close enough to downtown to easily get to activities in New Braunfels. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean which is always most important. It got cold out so we didn't go outside much, but there are multiple places to sit outside and enjoy the view when the weather is nice.
