«The heater did not work so house was freezing. Fireplace did not appear to be working, and wood was wet and did not burn. Bed was not comfortable. Hot tub was gross and did not work. Sauna did not get hot. The pictures looked better than the actual experience. »

«Cozy and beautiful cabin. You will really need to have a suv or any high clearance car to park in the driveway due to the steepiness of the driveway(included in the instructions.) No air conditioning except for masters bedroom. Might be better to have portable AC in all rooms during summer. Most of of us, unable to sleep because it was hot when we went. 90s weather. «Gorgeous home! Perfect location. Easy access to Heavenly Village and state parks surrounding Lake Tahoe. However, the hot tub was locked and there was no outdoor seating other than 1 picnic table. Multiple beautiful expansive decks and spacious backyard, yet nowhere to sit except one picnic table on only 1 of the 4 decks and nothing in the yard. «Great communication with the host. Very accommodating and quick to respond. Host was super friendly and the place was very comfortable. I loved the little farm/ranch. The breakfast was so good everything was made fresh from the farm. I would stay here again . The little town outside of the place is so convenient too. »

«Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids.
