«I last stayed here three years ago and thought it was great to come back and see all the new updates and I can’t complain! We forgot a toothbrush and the front desk gave us some, the breakfast is decent for a hotel, and valet is very convenient. This will be our go to hotel when visiting KC.»

«There were definitely some spots that looked really cool. I just think they could maybe go with the boutique flair a little bit more so that we could get the feel of such a grand old hotel better. the front desk person while very pleasant was not helpful at all as far as telling us where the elevator even was at, what time they had breakfast or about the restaurant. She really didn’t give us any information so we were a little disappointed in that.»

«Parking was easy. And the night staff was helpful. But my room was gross. The hotel was at max capacity so there were no other rooms and it was late so I didn’t have a choice to leave. The walls were dirty with bbq sauce splatter, it was on the floor and it was on the bed. The night staff brought me clean sheets and extra sheets and towels which I also cover the floor with. Would not stay here again (yes it looks like the pics but I’d choose another facility)»

«This is not a 4 star property by any means. It’s a little run down, overpriced, very basic room, good enough to shower and sleep. It’s located at the edge of the plaza district, very nice part of town, easy drive to downtown and other districts. Self parking in the garage was easy enough, $30/day.»

«Great location near US 70 and Swope Park/Starlight Amphitheater. Easy check in and out with helpful staff. Room was clean but faced US 70 under construction and was somewhat noisy. Hotel is older but was in decent condition. Good price. I would stay here again for short term stays.»

«There was no fridge or microwave in the room. Great size but not all the amenities that were paid for.»

«Proximity to shopping and dining was excellent. Room was clean but hotel is showing its age. The parking garage is dimly lit. Weather was warm but pool was drained. Breakfast buffet was good but we were served water in a glass that had lipstick on it, which was a bit unsettling considering it wasn't busy.»

«Lovely room with a great view. Staff is excellent. Location is absolutely perfect: There's a streetcar stop directly outside that drops you off at the Plaza on one end and tons of other attractions on the other end — Union Station, World War I Memorial, much more. Westport restaurants are very close by. CONS: The food is vastly overpriced and middling at best. The breakfast buffet is currently $25 per person and the food is not better than you'd get at any breakfast buffet. I don't mind paying ...
