«The cottage was perfect for my needs. I had a wedding to attend on a farm in Union down country roads, so it made my commute very easy especially after dark. I am very fortunate to have found it so close.
It is quaint, comfortable and very neat and clean. One important aspect is that the bed is comfortable.
I traveled with my dog and felt very safe walking him in the neighborhood. The owner is very helpful and responsive.
If I ever need to stay in Union again, I would definitely book here ...

«We really enjoyed our stay at the Restful Retreat! We loved how they had everything labeled so you don’t have to go looking for things. The bed was really comfortable, my husband said it was his best nights sleep he’s had in a year! Kim sent us messages checking in on us to see if there’s anything we needed. It was convenient to Winthrop University and within walking distance to a nice Veterens Garden. It’s also close to restaurants, grocery store. We would stay here again!»

«My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this campsite. Everything included made the trip stress free and we got to fully focus on fun and relaxation. Great campfire, lights, trash can, grill everything included. And the four stars on cleanness is only because of the grill but I’m sure that’s difficult to maintain outside overall 10/10 for real . »

«We have stayed in Sara’s Shacks before so we weren’t concerned. Unfortunately we should have been concerned. We arrived after dark. Once I got into the house to turn the outside lights on, we found that the front porch light was burnt out and the back porch lighting was very poor. I messaged Sara about the front porch light and she messaged back immediately “I’ll send someone over to change the front porch light, sorry about that.”The next night we came back and no light.
