Right from checking in this experience was poor. Received my keys, they didn’t work. Came back to see my travel buddy wait listed with no rooms available. We booked and paid at the same time. Front desk person was frazzled and was calling manager on her day off to help. She walked me to my room to let me in, she didn’t know how to activate the card key. My room was not fully cleaned. Dirty dishes, sticky floors and missing amenities. Manager arrived an hour later and sorted my friend’s room and gave me new card key but only one because they were low on keys.
Next day, I came back around 9pm and my key card didn’t work and no one on site to help me out. I walked around for half an hour trying to find a phone number to call for emergencies since clearly no one was around to answer the front desk phone. I got lucky and found manager to fix my key card and this time I got two cards. Other friends were not so lucky who came later with a similar issue of key cards and no answer to emergency number. They spent the night in their car.
My fridge was broken and all the groceries and food I bought went to waste. I was told that another room complained about a fridge not working and they swapped fridges with my room just before I arrived.
The concept of this place is good. I was staying for several days and liked the idea of cooking my own food but this was not possible between broken fridge, dirty dishes, no pots and pans… so much potential.
