«The resort was beautiful, quiet and clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will see monkeys and sloths. The staff will point them out to you as well. Most of the community does speak English and do take dollars without difficulty. The restaurants on the resort are pricey, we tried Agua Azul close by and it was delicious and reasonable, Emil’s Cafe was also great but also a little more pricey. Taking a taxi to the local restaurants in Manuel Antonio is about $10 each ...

«Everything about this hotel is phenomenal. Starts at booking, check in, the staff is Excellent, attentive, friendly. Will is the best , in the restaurant area. He is kind, funny , professional, and an all around asset to the hotel. All of the restaurant staff was amazingly kind The reception guys were very helpful with information, getting our bags to and from the car, and everyone was in charge of keeping the kittys safe from the monkeys . Had the best time and we will return. Pura vida »

«We were surprised by this hotel. Very convenient. The owner and staff are very attentive to your needs and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and they even offered us to store our luggage after the checkout so we could go to the beach. We definitely recommend it. »

«This hostel is near everything you need. ATM is two steps out the door (costs $2 to use), the swimming pool is really nice, sunloungers to use are in good condition and well placed, short walk to shops and restaurants and there's a restaurant that is attached to the hostel that does great breakfast for a good price. I would recommend paying extra for a room with air-conditioning because around day 3, I couldn't take much more of our stuffy room. »

«1) wrong address listed. Took me 20 minutes to figure out that the correct address was listed only in the email. Email wasn’t clear that google maps and Apple Maps was wrong. 2) no communication with the property as we were figuring out the address in the dark 3) villa booked wasn’t provided to us as their was no power in the villa which was initially booked 4) no internet provided during our stay. 5) had to figure out the water supply issue on one of the days of our stay 6) I have been trying ...

«Had a three night stay here, it’s very close to the national park and beach in a very safe area with a lot of food options. Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the AC worked very well. Scott was a great host and readily available to answer any questions. As a woman, solo traveller, would def recommend. »

"We had a nice stay at El Faro. The hotel had ok quality, but had a very nice location and a fantastic view of the ocean. And loads of monkeys and wildlife right at the hotel, even on our balcony! Fun!"
