«The building is like a maze, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was both heating and air conditioning as well as a window which could be opened. Breakfast on the Saturday was terrible, I was so disappointed and had to go elsewhere to eat. But the Sunday it was lovely so perhaps they were having an off day although it does make it expensive to have to pay again for breakfast. 100% recommend the breakfast on Sunday and the staff both days were really nice. «Large car park at rear but it was a large pub. Friendly staff and clean room. Food was good and well priced which was shown by how busy it was in the restaurant. The only negative at all for this pub/hotel was that when clearing tables after diners had left the waitress used what cutlery was left on the table to make it up ready for the next diners. How did she know that the previous people didn't sneeze on it or handle it? Not nice in my opinion»

«The bungalows location was great for me visiting family and being so close to town was perfect. Loved having an off road parking spot in an otherwise very busy street. There was plenty of room for myself and my Mum and daughter and it allowed us to have family from the area to visit for dinner one night which was great. »

«A lovely location, lodges have a large living space, kitchen is well kitted out and the bedrooms are a very good size. Hot tub was clean and a good extra for each lodge. The lodges do look a little tired inside, some new furniture would certainly enhance the look and comfort. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay.»

«Loved the bottle of wine to greet us but could have done with some washing up liquid and a little more than 1 toilet roll for the week! Decor a little worn in places and garden needs attention, but served our purpose as we had Commonwealth Games tickets. Very comfy beds. Thanks.»
