The first room (161) allocated to us had a strong smell of damp, which made it extremely unpleasant. On closer inspection, we noticed mould growing on the blind, which is a health concern. Additionally, the bed sheets were dirty and stained, which is unacceptable for any guest accommodation. The bathroom was also in poor condition: the door was badly water damaged, and the skirting board behind the door showed similar damage.
After raising these issues, we were moved to a second room (164). However, this room also had several problems. The blind was heavily stained, and we had to clean the bath before it could be used because there was a visible dirty water line around the tub. The toilet roll holder was broken and lying on the floor. Furthermore, the bathroom floor had numerous gaps in the grout, which looked unsightly and gave an impression of neglect.
This experience was very disappointing and did not reflect the quality which you advertise, and we have come to expect from our previous stays.
I hope you will address these concerns so that future guests, including ourselves, have a better experience.
