The only thing that dragged our experience down was the sleeping-coach, which was ready to be changed. It was really horrible to sleep on. Beside this, the hotel was so lovely with a great breakfast in a charming top floor. To our surprise, they even had an afternoon-hour of complementary wine and cheese. Unfortunately it was a quite early in the afternoon, so we did not make it back to it in time. ...

«Our deluxe king room was quite snug. We stayed on the 4th floor and the person above us was stomping so so much. The property is absolutely lovely and the location was ideal- easy walking to lots of wonderful food. I would definitely recommend this hotel- maybe just spring for the superior king. »

«Mattress is worn, actually had a concave feel to it air conditioner, ran all night would not turn off asked maintenance to fix they did not USB ports not working on one side of bed. Light was flickering with bad bulb very cramped. bed was right up against the wall just about.»

«The staff was very nice. The property was old and needs updating. The spread was not enough to keep me warm at night, so after the first night of shivering and using my two jackets on the bed to keep me warm, the friend I was visiting in Charleston lent me a thick quilt for the last three nights. The drapes match the bedspread I bought over twenty years ago….(pic included) The breakfast was adequate. »
