Our check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk staff (with the exception of the general manager) were unfriendly and unprofessional. There seemed to be a lack of communication and urgency among the team — we were told over the phone that early check-in would be possible, but upon arrival, the rooms were not yet cleaned and no one appeared aware of that update.
When our check-in was delayed, nothing was offered to accommodate the inconvenience aside from cookies, which felt insufficient given the circumstances.
Additionally, when we finally accessed our room, the door was jammed and extremely difficult to open from both outside and inside. As two women traveling alone, this raised safety concerns and made us uncomfortable, especially since it required significant force just to enter or exit the room.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations in terms of communication, professionalism, or guest comfort.
