«Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. «Desk Staff is beyond great. Only advice for them to pay attention to detail. Second visit. Same room 3 months apart. Missing bathroom fan conver. Cracked electrical inlet cover in entry. «Nice remodel. But no breakfast. For $130/night you’d think they could provide a breakfast of done kind. The room as the view were nice. Sadly, the vanity in the bathroom wasn’t upgraded and had two large cracks in it. The water took literally five minutes to get warm for my shower. »

The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. «The place was very nice, clean, and was just as advertised. It was pretty small, but comfortably slept 3 of us. There was no kitchen, just a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a toaster. There are also no plates or bowls (even paper ones) so I suggest that you bring your own if you plan to use the kitchenette. The walk to the lifts is only about 5 min, and there is also a shuttle stop right out front if you don't want to walk.»

«This was a very nice property at a reasonable price. Nice neighborhood, secure enclosed garage. Although we did not use the kitchen, it was well stocked and clean. King size bed was very comfortable. We were in town for a wedding and this was a perfect location. Our host, John was very prompt on responding to my questions.
