«This hotel is better than I expected. Nice and bright rooms with both a frdige and a coffee machine. I like that. And they also kept an xtra set of towels in the room for me, kinda "just in case". I heard that they do that in every room. Nice. The staff was very helpful and serviceminded, and the 24h.desk made me feel safe. The only thing I can think of is the breakfast. Its ok, but not good, and it feels kinda cheap that they serve it in the reception area. The area outside is pretty and quiet. ...

«Unfortunately the cleanliness of this hotel was terrible. The entire room smelt like animal urine and it was just an awful smell we had to sleep with the windows open. Not only that but when we woke up the next morning there were fleas on us. The beds are infested with fleas. Do not stay here.»

«The staff I encountered were great. They were accommodating and the beds were comfortable! The area is beautiful and we had a nice view from the back windows. It was a little loud overnight- but, typical hotel behavior. It was Saturday night. My main complaint and why I didn’t give them 5 stars all around was the floor was a bit dirty and the curtain rod was broken but had been positioned to stay up. Overall, decent experience and the staff made up for areas lacking. »

«Easy to find and access, plenty of self parking. Room was clean, bed was fine. Couldn’t get TV channels to work. Wi-fi was good. Pricing is about $25 too high. The 88 restaurant next door is very good. Quiet stay.»

«The host was great and the location was good, with a moderate walk on the side of the road to the chairlifts. Unfortunately the room was the equivalent of a dated motel room with the faint but distinct smell of a smoker’s old car. It was far overpriced for the quality. »

«Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money ...

The location couldn’t be better—right next to a restaurant and just across the street from the chair lifts, which made getting on the mountain incredibly convenient. «The place was very nice, clean, and was just as advertised. It was pretty small, but comfortably slept 3 of us. There was no kitchen, just a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a toaster. There are also no plates or bowls (even paper ones) so I suggest that you bring your own if you plan to use the kitchenette. The walk to the lifts is only about 5 min, and there is also a shuttle stop right out front if you don't want to walk.»
