«The room was clean but very small. There was nothing open in the Kirkwood area, no ice available. We thought we would be staying in the main building. Overall, it was a good place to sleep.»

«Staff very helpful and friendly. Room is decorated with beautiful classic furniture. Bar was very nice with fantastic bartender. Great experience in beautiful well maintained 173 year old hotel.»

«It was a nice, newly renovated room. New owner was nice and friendly. Better than I thought for a Rodeway Inn. Noise from the highway was a little loud, but that is typical for many hotels. I overslept for having the breakfast. But the owner offered me a drink at check-in…I took a 7-up. Also offered chips, which I didn’t take…but nice to have a snack offered at check-in. I would stay there again»

«The room was clean & spacious. The breakfast had waffles, scrambled eggs, yogurt, cereal & pastries»

«This hotel is better than I expected. Nice and bright rooms with both a frdige and a coffee machine. I like that. And they also kept an xtra set of towels in the room for me, kinda "just in case". I heard that they do that in every room. Nice. The staff was very helpful and serviceminded, and the 24h.desk made me feel safe. The only thing I can think of is the breakfast. Its ok, but not good, and it feels kinda cheap that they serve it in the reception area. The area outside is pretty and quiet. ...

«Dirty. Shower/tub wouldn't drain Told the front desk. Still didn't drain the next morning Noisy. Cigarette butter on the sidewalk infront of rooms Strong smell of pot from other guests that permeated our room»

«Excellent walkability. The room was lovely, a quaint Victorian. Bathroom great. Staff kind and accommodating. We highly recommend.»

«The Nice lady at the desk was absolutely amazing. The first time I stayed there. She was very attentive, very professional very courteous very kind. The second time I stayed there was a kiosk and the check-in was very cold not personable, and it left me feeling detached.»

«The Innkeeper was wonderful, three-course breakfast was outstanding. Property is upscale, warm, and beautiful. I would go again in a heartbeat.»

«The Rest Hotel in downtown Plymouth is a gem of a find! Quaint, cute, perfect location, perfect amenities, and the rooms were much better than "normal" hotels. However, the best part of our visit was the staff. They are caring, responsive, polite, and fun! My wife will only stay at the Rest Hotel when we return to Amador County Wine Country!»

«House was great for a one night stay in pioneer. Quiet and roomy.»

«Amazing hospitality surrounded by BEAUTIFUL GOLD COUNTRY, California. »
