Weekend i Reading
** Hadde bedt om en dobbelseng. Uten garanti selvfølgelig. Ble ikke imøtekommet.
** Fikk rom. Det var flekker på tepper noen så ut som blod flekker. Utrolig at rengjøringspersonell ikke ser det og ikke supervisor heller? Man leier ikke ut et slik rom uten at det blir gjort rent.
** Klagde og fikk nytt rom. Greit men hvorfor er badet for handikap? Kanskje alle er slikt?
** Oppdaget senere at det var flekker på gardinene. Gadd ikke å klage og bytte igjen.
** Har skjønt at hotellet brukes mye til konferanser samt fotball fans til Reading FC idet hotellet er en del av stadion komplekset.
** God frokost og hyggelig betjening.
** Deilig å kunne ta et økt i oppvarmet basseng + jacuzzi. Hyggelig folk.
** Deler av garderoben og hotellet trenger oppussing.
Litt langt fra flyplassene Heathrow og Gatwick. Greit til London men Reading har gode togforbindelser.

For those of you from the USA, just round the corner from the hotel is a Costco, and you can use your US membership card for the best gas prices ! The hotel was clean, spacious, and great. Would stay here again without hesitation

Lovely hotel, I would recommend
We had an excellent stay and everything was fine during our time at the hotel. Leon was super helpful and all the staff we encountered had good customer service. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good with different options and rooms were spacious. We will definitely be back.

great room but take a book as the tv is poor
really quiet rooms with proper blackout curtains,very good beds and spacious layout.Personally I rather have a walk-in shower,not a bath with shower over.
One minus point-the tv channels are few and mostly rubbish,as is the radio-no radio 6 ?is this the dark ages?

I selected hotels with a swimming pool and this property came up in a search. £111 for a standard double room.. which I was prepared to pay as it had a nice looking pool. On arrival however it transpired that the pool and spa were closed for refurb! The receptionist took pity and 'upgraded' my room but the shower was old and grubby and not very powerful at all. Felt a bit duped by the whole experience. Raised my concerns on checking out and had to wait a while for the manager to come.. who said she could only refund the extra £15 I paid for breakfast. Tbf the breakfast was really good, but all in all disappointed that A) it was listed as having a pool and B) cost that much for a grubby shower and no swimming pool. Unlikely to return

OK as a business hotel.
A business hotel in a quite an isolated position. Its a tidy hotel, the room was very large and the staff were friendly but I had a few major issues.. the toilet did not flush (at all!); room service took 1hr and 20 mins and some of the bedding didnt smell too fresh.

stayed here many times and always good but this time it has gone down hill and staff did not care for their regular customers.
there was a massive party in the first floor wigh hundreds of people and the noise from 10pm to 4am was ao loud we xould not sleep at all our room was right next door to the party where that room should not be hired, must better service at hilton or crown plaza

Great hotel, good sizes rooms and extremely comfortable with amazing staff they cannot do enough to make your stay enojoyable. I would highly recommend.

Great location, friendly check in and helpful. Parking was spot on. Ideal location for getting around. Only part i found awkward was breakfast. Staff were not as friendly, and when asked our room number they were saying it wasn't there. This was sorted by reception but i found the restaurant staff a little bit abrupt. Overall a great stay though.

I forgot how much I enjoy staying here.
A very relaxing stay. The suites are just a relaxing home-from-home. All the staff friendly and helpful from the bar to the resturant to the night manager. All went the extra mile. Helpful they now have electric car chargers in the car park.
Had a wonderful night at Cilantro's resturant with friends. Great food and ambience. I'm not normally a breakfast person - but the buffet and breakfast room is lovely....

Excellent accommodation 1st class service with obliging staff. Luxury bedroom with comfortable beds. Good selection of food for the breakfast buffet with additional choices to accommodate any dietary requirements. Will definitely return for another visit. 5*

I would like a refund for at least half the price because the spa very unkept and swimming handle was almost falling off which was a hazardous!! I was unable to use the spa for that reason and I felt cheated. To add the jacuzzi was also not work I mean the whole spa experience was non existence for those reasons.

Complaint Ignored
Ruined my 5 years birthday! The hotel was old and the service awful. All the facilities are old and breakfast was slow and machines weren't even working to get a coffee. To get anything vegetarian took 30mins. Awful service all around and if I could get my money back I would! Then complained to Le An Guan Front Office Manager and my complaint has been totally ignored.
